History: Aimee is a very special old lady.  She has had a history of poor health but just before she should have traveled the other year had a series of strokes that left her very ill. She is now fully recovered and on a fabulous regimen of medications and supplements that should keep her free of any future episodes. She is an absolute doll and just like a puppy how she runs about smiling her head off. She’s quite over weight so tired quite easily but we are working on getting the weight off her and now that she is out and about most of the day I’m sure she will be like twiggy in no time at all.

History: Maddie has only just arrived to me from a public shelter so I don't know too much about her. She is  very submissive. We will obviously update more details once she has settled in with us.  It was said that she was very unsettled in the shelter and even though she was moved from one kennel to another she could not settle anywhere as she was submissive the other dogs would not let her eat. Here with us she shares with 3 young pups so she is much more relaxed and enjoying her food a lot better. She is very quiet and loving, she accepts cuddles from the person who she trusts but she is very frightened towards people she does not know. (as with many of our dogs they need to learn to trust humans again and to realise that they wont hurt her.) At the moment being new with us she fears a leash, harness and collar a lot because she was handled by dogcatchers using the hanging pole. I'm sure once she learns that we are not going to hurt her she will be more responsive with us ...baby steps to earn her trust :)

History: Sabrina had spent most of her life living outside the towns mortuary and sleeping on a hard plastic chair. She has tested negative for heart worm, has completed her vaccinations, been microchipped and is now in the UK. She is a total sweetheart and loves people but also behaves nicely with the other dogs. She is clean in the house and walks nicely in a lead and I cannot put my finger in what it is but there is just something very special about her. Look wise I’d say she looks quite Beagley but has a longer dachshund type body, shirt legs and a very cute over shot jaw

History: Scoot is a stunning small medium sized, two and a bit year old boy with short legs and a long body. He is a real bundle of fun and loves to run, play and cuddle. He walks beautifully on a lead but is a bit of an escape artist so needs a home with a very secure garden or even one without a garden at all. He was adopted by an older lady when he first arrived but returned to rescue as she did not feel she could give him the exercise he needed. He needs a very active home and would love to spend his days waking the hills or out running or jogging with his owner.

History: Cara is a beautiful sweet little girl of about 18 months old ... Sadly she was born without an anus and had to have surgery to create one for her. She is now fully recovered and leads a normal life bit is on a special diet to help her stay this way as she cannot be allowed to become constipated or eat food that will make if difficult for her to pass stools due to the limited muscle strength she has in that area. But all this will disappear from your mind when you meet her as she is just one of the sweetest little dogs you will ever meet ... If not the sweetest

History: Diesel is an amazing cute, funny and loveable boy. We have guesstimated him to be 18 months to 2 years old and he was found at a petrol station in Romania by one of the rescuers we work with out there when she was in her way to drop some other dogs off for transport for us. She dropped him at the private kennel facility we use out there where he was prepped to travel and the rest his history !!! He is clean in the house and walks nicely on a lead (once he trusts you) and loves people.

History: Little Oliwia is about 18 month old and small sized. She was rescued from the kill shelter with her pal Tiny Tim (also available for adoption) but we think that she had belonged to someone at some point as she was wearing a red collar. This is where she gets her name from as she reminded me of the little girl in the red coat in the Schindler’s List movie. She is very affectionate and just wants to sit on your knee and cuddle. She is clean in the house, walks nicely on a lead and showed no interest when she met my cats.
